About The Event
Dear Fellow Community Members, Sponsors, Friends, and Family,
This year, our family will be remembering the tragic death of our 13-year-old daughter, Larisa Karassik. She was killed by a drunk and drugged driver in upstate New York on Memorial Day weekend ten years ago. On May 23, 2015, Larisa went on a short car ride into town to buy ice cream, but she never returned. Larisa lost her life on that beautiful sunny afternoon and left behind two younger sisters, ages 11 and 9, who grieve the unfathomable death of their beloved sister.
Larisa made a lasting impact in the few years she was here with us. She was very active in the community and played many sports. She was passionate about helping fellow community members in need.
